(As a newbie VA, I was very fortunate that Ponn Sabra expressed an interest in working with me. I’ve learned so much being part of the Blogger Babes team over the past six months and can highly recommend their learning materials to anyone who wants to take their blog to the next level. Thanks for visiting my spot on the blog tour!)
This post is a part of a month-long Blogger Babes blog tour which began here. To read this post in-context, we recommend starting at the beginning–then hop along with us for the full journey.
First, we want to thank Marya profusely not for just being a host to our blog tour, but for being our first and longest lasting team/staff member of Blogger Babes. We have experienced a great deal of our phenomenal growth these past seven month due in part to Marya’s awesome VA (virtual assistance) abilities and talents.
She’s simply one of our secret weapons simply because she keeps a ton of stuff organized for us. Recently, Marya finally went on a long awaited and much-needed vacation. Heidi and I let things fall through the cracks not because of poor planning on Marya’s part, but because we simply didn’t notice her warning or advice because we’re both too busy to notice. We learned through that quite humorous situation (as no harm was done) and adjusted our protocols to cross-train all our staff members so Marya (and everyone else) can take her next much-needed vacation again. 😉
Now to the business of blogging…
I’ve been sharing the importance of checklist the last couple of posts, and every blogger knows that publishing the post is only the beginning of the process. Publicizing, sharing and creating social media buzz to get readers to read your post is a whole other story. To help you organize your social media efforts we developed:
A Blogger’s Social Media Shareability Checklist
* I have installed social media sharing buttons (plugins) on my blog
* I am scheduling sharing my blog posts via my social media
* Google Plus
* Other ________________________________
* I am bringing my posts to the attention of influential bloggers in my niche (without being annoying)
* I am looking for opportunities to guest blog on appropriate, relevant blogs
* I am continually seeking relevant guest bloggers from similar niches for my own blog.
* My blog is attractive, readable, useful and engaging!
