Unfortunately for many of us our go-to stress busters revolve around food or numbing ourselves in front of a computer screen.

You don’t really need any special equipment. You can certainly walk inside, but walking outside in the fresh air and sunlight will increase the benefits that you’re getting from your walk.

Stepping away from everything for a change of scenery will allow you to come back to it with a clear head and a fresh perspective when you get back. Finally, walking also happens to be a form of low impact exercise that you can do just about any time or any place. It gets you moving, helps to release tension in your muscles, pump more blood through your body, and oxygen into your cells. When you walk outside in the fresh air, it’s even better for you.
